We are still here for you!!
COVID-19 has caused many of our Centre's to adjust to new ways of providing care and support. We at the Pregnancy Care & Family Support Centre remain committed to our clients and to the greater Haliburton area. Although our location is not open to the public, we are available by phone, text, email or video conferencing.
If you are in need of items such as diapers, formula, baby food/clothing we are still able to help! At this time, when we are contacted with a request for items, we place the contents in a package and leave it outside our door for pick up.
We recognize that COVID-19 is having a financial impact on many families. If you are struggling with the cost of groceries or are currently limited in your ability to pick them up, we will do our best to assist you in meeting these needs.
If you are in need of a pregnancy test, we can arrange for pick up of a lab-quality, self-administered, urine-based test. We then also provide emotional support by phone, text or virtual meeting before and after the test. We recognize that the COVID-19 situation can add stress in the midst of the possibility of an unexpected pregnancy and so we are here to support you during this time of uncertainty.
By using phone, text, email, and/or virtual meeting, we are still able to provide support for those who are:
- exploring their pregnancy options
- struggling with a pregnancy
- feeling the weight of parenting at this time
- looking for community resource information
Contact us to arrange the best method of communication for you and to learn more about how we can support you!
