Facing an Unexpected Pregnancy
When she comes to you and tells you she could be pregnant, it’s natural to feel nervous or unsure. You might feel scared, confused, or angry. When it comes to pregnancy decisions, the choice is ultimately up to her – but you can have a big influence on her decision.

Before you begin worrying what decision to make, does she know if she is really pregnant? A positive test is an indication of pregnancy, but not a confirmation. We offer free pregnancy tests. Test results should be confirmed medically to confirm and date the pregnancy.

IN THE MOMENT: Staying calm and helping her research all her options is one of the best things you can do. Offer real support by letting her know you are there for her no matter what. She needs to know you care, you are listening and that you will help her.

Here at the Pregnancy Care & Family Support Centre we are blessed to have a large variety of goods and services to offer any family in need at no cost to them. If your circumstances have you parenting from a separate address than the mother of your child, all goods and services we provide are extended to fathers in your situation as well. We desire to be a support to fathers just as much as mothers regardless of the circumstance.
